Happy 2016! Updates and UK Blog Awards

Firstly – happy new year! I hope everyone’s 2016 has gotten off to a good start so far. I just wanted to give a bit of a general update with this post (there will still be a recipe posted this week though!), and to mention that, for anyone following Veganuary this month, you can find all my vegan recipes here!

2015 was a fantastic year for Bryony’s Kitchen. I was added to the Vegetarian Society’s list of recommended veggie blogs, and finally got hold of a great camera, which has taken me many steps closer towards achieving the photos I’d like to accompany recipes. I also had a recipe featured in The i Paper, which I’m still buzzing from! There were some pretty good recipes, too, if I do say so myself. According to my stats your favourite last year was my sweet potato and black bean chilli, followed closely by the Earl Grey cupcakes with lemon marscapone buttercream. I was really pleased with both of those, so it’s fantastic to see you all were too!

I have some pretty exciting things planned for 2016, too. As well as a list of recipes as long as my arm to try out, I’m currently working on a very exciting project which will form a brand new part of the site! All will be revealed soon, but watch this space… particularly those of you in London.

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to have been nominated for the UK Blog Awards 2016! If you’ve enjoyed my recipes and content over the past year then please take a moment to vote for me – it would be very much appreciated. You can vote once per day(!) until Monday 25th January – that’s a lot of potential votes right there! You can click here or on the image below to vote. Thank you in advance to everyone who does – it’s a fantastic opportunity, and means a lot to me! If I get through to the awards evening I’ll be sure to make something special to celebrate, so you can also have that as an incentive…
